Jul. 21st, 2010 08:44 pmAfter the ginormous disappointment of the movie (yes, I watched it, and yes, I wish I hadn't spent the money), here is some exciting news for any other Avatar fans on my flist.
Nickelodeon has green-lighted an official spin-off of A:TLA, called 'The Legend of Korra.
It's going to be set 70 years or so after the original, and Aang's son will be teaching the new Avatar Korra, a fierce-sounding girl from the Southern Water Tribe.
OH YES AND IT'S GOING TO BE AMAZING AND STEAMPUNK-TASTIC.
